to no avail

Though it wasnt mine, the time since spent clawing up through dirt.

Eyes close to feel you, drag me back down.

I still have what you threw away, but can there be life when there is death?

Trying to conceive, a future born from your loss.

Two sons in one, to shine a light through the endless.

At night you come, imbue my every thought.

Yet, I wake alone,

another day to walk in vain.
